Strategic Analytics Manager

About the role

Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD), a global medical technology company, is looking for a Strategic Analytics Manager. The role combines growth opportunity identification, market intelligence and evidence generation with support for strategic planning and decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Identify growth opportunities using business, market, customer, competitive and healthcare-system signals, and assess their market potential, strategic fit and commercial implications
• Integrate financial, Salesforce, distributor, in-market sales and market intelligence data, and run market sizing, whitespace, penetration, segmentation and portfolio analyses
• Build and maintain a reusable regional hub of market, competitive, portfolio and growth intelligence, including market-sizing databases, opportunity maps and competitive assessments
• Support the Annual Strategic Review, Growth Forums, business reviews and portfolio assessments, and prepare executive-ready analyses and presentations
• Track post-review commitments and growth initiatives, assessing progress and highlighting where intervention or course correction is needed

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, statistics, data analytics, engineering, life sciences, healthcare or a related discipline
• 5-8 years in strategic planning, business analytics, commercial excellence, market intelligence, finance, business insights, consulting or a related field
• Healthcare, MedTech or life sciences experience preferred
