Strategy & Planning Intern, CNBC International

About the role

Versant, which owns CNBC International, is looking for a Strategy & Planning Intern in Singapore for January to June 2027. The intern will rotate between two teams: the Partnerships Strategy Team, which pitches new business for CNBC, and the Account Services Team, which ensures advertising campaigns are delivered smoothly and on time. Training and coaching are provided during the first three weeks.

Key responsibilities

• Partnerships Strategy Team: develop proposal ideas for clients across editorial, branded content and events; build pitch decks, including design and mock-ups; develop go-to-market decks for CNBC's products and services; research clients, sectors and marketing trends; work on ad-hoc projects supporting sales teams across APAC and EMEA.
• Account Services Team: capture off-air checks and online screenshots for ad campaigns; monitor campaign KPIs across TV, digital and social; create rich-media assets; assist in building a library of case studies.

Required profile

• University student currently pursuing an undergraduate degree.
• Legal right to work in Singapore; only eligible candidates will be considered.
• Full-time availability from January to June.
• Understanding of the contemporary marketing and advertising landscape and a keen interest in business news and current affairs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PowerPoint, Canva and similar presentation or design tools.
• Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills.
• Strong collaboration, multitasking and deadline management skills.
