Student Discipline Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Student Discipline Officer to join our Student Development Team in Woodlands, Singapore. You will play a key role in promoting positive discipline, student well‑being and safety across the school environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build rapport with students during morning arrival, recess and lunch supervision.
• Monitor student behaviour, manage conflicts, and promptly report incidents.
• Assist in discipline case investigations, including CCTV review and documentation.
• Conduct restorative conversations and support restorative practices.
• Mentor at‑risk students, develop intervention plans and conduct home visits when needed.
• Supervise after‑school detention and intervention programmes.
• Collaborate with teachers, counsellors and school staff to support student development.
• Patrol school premises and neighbourhood to promote safety and positive behaviour.
• Maintain accurate case records and perform assigned administrative duties.

Required profile

• MOE‑registered personnel, former MOE primary school teacher or holder of a relevant qualification in Education, Counselling, Social Work, Psychology or related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in student welfare or a primary school setting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and conflict‑management abilities.
• Knowledge of child protection, counselling and case management is an advantage.
• Passionate about supporting students, proactive, responsible and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Experience with CCTV review and incident documentation.
• Ability to conduct restorative conversations and mentorship.
• Proficiency in maintaining case records and administrative tasks.
