Supervising Events Producer – 7‑Month Contract

About the role

The Supervising Events Producer will lead the strategic planning, creative development and flawless execution of CNBC International’s live and virtual events portfolio, including flagship industry conferences, experiential brand activations and digital broadcasts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow a team of event producers and coordinators, ensuring clear workload balance and career development.
• Own end‑to‑end event timelines, budgets and vendor relationships for all active projects.
• Collaborate closely with Editorial, Sales/Sponsorship and Marketing to align programming, speaker line‑ups and audience acquisition with brand and monetisation goals.
• Maintain consistent quality, brand alignment and standard operating procedures across the entire events portfolio.
• Oversee the production of live broadcasts and virtual experiences, ensuring technical reliability and audience engagement.
• Report on event performance, ROI and insights to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale live and virtual events, preferably within a media or news organisation.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Excellent project‑management skills with the ability to juggle multiple high‑value initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally with editorial, sales and marketing teams.
• Solid understanding of event monetisation and brand integration strategies.
