Supplier Business Manager - China+ & Tier-2 Supply Chain

About the role

KLA, a global leader in electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, is looking for a Supplier Business Manager in Singapore. The role leads the China+ program to reduce dependency on China and strengthen supply chain resilience, and manages Tier-2 suppliers, pricing, risk mitigation and continuity planning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the China+ program: identify at-risk parts and supply chains, drive alternate sourcing and supplier transitions outside China, and track milestones such as qualification, localization and dual sourcing
• Build visibility of the Tier-2 supply chain, map Tier-2 suppliers by criticality, spend and risk, and establish direct engagement with key Tier-2 suppliers
• Act as the primary escalation point for Tier-2 supply issues affecting production and resolve capacity, delivery and quality issues
• Own pricing negotiations and commercial alignment with Tier-2 suppliers, including long-term cost agreements and cost transparency
• Work with Tier-1 suppliers (CMs) to align on Tier-2 strategy, resolve ownership conflicts and define a shared operating model
• Mitigate single-source and geographic concentration risks, develop business continuity plans and qualify alternate Tier-2 sources
• Ensure Tier-2 supply aligns with export control and regulatory requirements, working with Global Trade Compliance
• Coordinate with Strategic Supplier Management, engineering, operations, trade compliance and executive leadership, and deliver supplier mapping dashboards, pricing frameworks and sourcing roadmaps

Required profile

• 8-12+ years of experience in supply chain, strategic sourcing, supplier management or operations in semiconductor equipment or high-tech manufacturing
• Proven multi-tier supplier management experience and strong background in contract manufacturing environments
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or supply chain, operations or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional programs with global scope
• Exposure to semiconductor equipment or high-tech manufacturing is an advantage
