Supplier Quality Engineer – Automotive (Permanent)

About the role

We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join a multinational automotive client in Singapore. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring supplier quality, managing risks during onboarding, and supporting new part qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct supplier quality assessments and manage quality risks for new suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities and collaborate with procurement on development and planning.
• Lead new part qualification activities (PPAP) and ensure timely project completion.
• Provide technical quality support and coach suppliers to improve performance.
• Investigate supplier quality issues, implement corrective actions, and deliver training.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in the automotive industry.
• Experience in Supplier Quality Engineering or structural component process engineering.
