Supply Chain Executive - Demand & Supply Planner

About the role

As a Supply Chain Executive, you will own demand planning and related supply‑chain activities for Watsons' growing e‑commerce business. You will ensure inventory accuracy, coordinate replenishment, and support order fulfilment across the e‑store channel.

Key responsibilities

• Execute best practices in demand‑supply planning, replenishment and stock exit to balance stock holding and on‑shelf availability.
• Maintain inventory data integrity across all systems throughout the order planning process.
• Liaise with internal teams (store operations, trading, finance, marketing, IT, logistics) and external 3PL providers and suppliers to provide timely replenishment and planning insights for sales promotions.
• Reconcile weekly and monthly inventory reports.
• Provide analytical decision support to the Ecommerce Distribution Warehouse to minimise roadblocks in receiving purchase orders.
• Manage ad‑hoc planning for campaign changes and keep stakeholders updated on inventory levels.
• Participate in special projects and provide leadership when required.
• Develop systematic processes and exception‑based tools to deliver reliable product supply results.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of supply‑chain planning experience, preferably in FMCG or retail; e‑commerce experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset, ownership, and result‑orientation.
• Ability to work independently, multitask under tight deadlines, and collaborate cross‑functionally.
• Comprehensive understanding of supply‑chain operations and associated risks.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Proficiency with data‑visualisation software.
• Familiarity with RPA tools.
• Knowledge of the SLIM4 forecasting application.
