Sustainability Intern – Energy Management

About the role

In this role you will support the site energy sustainability program and introduce good energy management practices to improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact. The program aligns with the global energy conservation program and the Singapore Energy Act.

Key responsibilities

• Support cost transformation for utilities, acting as project owner to ensure timely implementation and accurate reporting.
• Analyze energy efficiency opportunities, drive projects, and monitor the computerized energy monitoring system.
• Coordinate energy audits, evaluate options, and provide solutions to improve equipment operation.
• Promote energy efficiency awareness across the site and monitor key performance indicators.
• Collaborate with maintenance and utilities managers to ensure effective preventive maintenance and predictive programs.
• Manage utility budgets, track spending, and report risks and mitigation plans.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of energy conservation technologies, engineering principles, and risk‑based decision making.
• Ability to apply Lean Six Sigma, change management, and continuous improvement tools.
