SVP, Relationship Manager, Private Banking (NRI Market)

About the role

DBS Private Banking offers a one-stop, full-service touch-point for total banking requirements, supported by a team of experienced investment advisors and partnerships across the DBS network and with global institutions. This role sits in the Consumer Banking Group and focuses on the NRI market, growing the business through acquisition and retention of HNW/UHNW clients.

Key responsibilities

• Grow the business through proactive acquisition and retention of HNW/UHNW clients within the NRI market.
• Implement a geographically focused strategy in line with business strategy.
• Source and acquire new clients, referring potential clients to other marketing teams or segments within the bank.
• Provide investment advice to clients and be fully responsible for clients under management.
• Maintain regular contact with clients, understand their background and source of wealth.
• Ensure compliance with the bank's and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with at least 12 to 15 years of relevant experience.
• Sound knowledge of private banking products and solutions, and deep expertise of the NRI market with relevant networks.
• Good understanding of banking compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong client centricity.
• Team player able to collaborate widely with internal stakeholders to drive client acquisition and retention.
