System Administration Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a System Administration Engineer to join our IT team and ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our infrastructure. You will work closely with support and technology teams to deliver seamless server and network services.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade and support IT infrastructure including networks, VPNs, Windows servers, Linux/Unix OS, email systems and related hardware.
• Perform server administration tasks such as user management, security permissions, backups and role‑based access control.
• Monitor systems, execute backup/restore procedures and apply security patches.
• Integrate new hardware/software, configure firewalls, routers, switches and manage LAMP and Java environment servers.
• Automate operations using scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform).
• Support CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, GitHub or Jenkins and monitor performance with Prometheus, Loki and Grafana.
• Collaborate with IT Support on identity & access management, network security and provide second‑tier issue resolution.

Required profile

• Diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience as a System Administrator.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Monitoring: Prometheus, Loki, Grafana.
• Infrastructure as Code: Ansible, Terraform.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) – a plus.
