System Administrator 1 (Singapore)

About the role

We are seeking a System Administrator 1 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit of M.C. Dean in Singapore. The role supports the design, integration, operation and maintenance of electronic security services for federal, local and commercial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain production systems, software, hardware and end‑devices, including installation, configuration, patching and support of physical and cloud‑based Windows and Linux servers.
• Ensure security, integrity and availability of systems, monitor operational alerts, troubleshoot issues and document processes to create and revise playbooks.
• Support and configure technologies related to access control, intrusion detection, emergency, video and other security systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 0+ years experience, or Associate’s degree with 4+ years, or HS diploma with 6+ years of progressive experience.
• Minimum two years of experience programming/administrating Physical Access Control Systems and a Security+, CASP or CISSP certification.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays, and travel up to 25% annually.

Required skills

• Windows Server administration and patching.

• Basic large‑scale networking knowledge (VLANs, routing).
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint.
