System Analyst – Group Technology (FVP)

About the role

The Group Technology team at United Overseas Bank Limited is seeking a senior System Analyst (FVP) to drive solution design and implementation across the bank. You will work closely with business users, analysts and project teams throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to post‑implementation support.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Users, Business Analysts and project teams to design solutions and provide post‑implementation support.
• Gather and analyse business requirements, suggest alternative solutions, and develop functional and technical specifications.
• Review solution designs, effort estimates and prioritize change requests.
• Support testing phases (SIT, UAT) and verify vendor code releases against specifications.
• Monitor production cut‑over, handle incidents, and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• More than 5 years of system analysis, testing or project management experience in banking/financial services.
• Proven ability to facilitate requirements sessions and create detailed interface specifications and data mappings.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
