System Engineer – Integrated Security & IT Infrastructure

About the role

The System Engineer will work closely with the Technical Manager, Project Manager and engineering team to deliver complex IT and security projects on time, within scope and budget. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise infrastructure and integrated security systems.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to define scope, schedule and budget.
• Prepare technical documentation such as design documents, deployment and migration plans, user manuals and workshop presentations.
• Design, integrate and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure and Integrated Security Systems (Access Control, Video Management).
• Perform installation, configuration, testing, commissioning and User Acceptance Testing.
• Deploy, administer and support platforms including Windows Server, Linux (Ubuntu), Active Directory, WSFC, SQL Server HA, Cisco/Alcatel‑Lucent networking, Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls, and endpoint security solutions.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, conduct root‑cause analysis and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Computer Engineering, IT, IT Security or a related field.
• Proven experience deploying, maintaining and supporting IT infrastructure and integrated security systems.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
