System Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a System Engineer to join our team in Ang Mo Kio and support client project sites. The role involves implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT infrastructure and enterprise systems across Microsoft‑based environments.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager and engineering team to deliver projects on scope, schedule, and budget.
• Manage project documentation and coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Set up, configure, integrate and deploy systems, databases and servers.
• Maintain Windows servers, virtualization platforms, system backups and perform cybersecurity setup and vulnerability checks.
• Conduct network checks, IP configuration, connectivity testing and support hardware/software/network issues.
• Monitor system performance, server health and network connectivity to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare technical presentations, documentation and deliver training sessions to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, IT Security or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT systems, infrastructure, system engineering or project implementation.
• Hands‑on experience as a System Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer is preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
