System Integration Engineer

About the role

This role ensures hands-on technical management of programs across analysis, design, development, testing and implementation, defining the overall technical approach, driving product quality and ensuring on-time delivery. It involves leading complex technical projects and programs supporting the evolution of hardware products, coordinating cross-functional teams and managing risks to release, scope, schedule and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead portions of the planning and execution of multiple complex technical projects or programs for hardware products.
• Partner with cross-functional development teams to help them prioritize, plan, track and execute complex programs.
• Analyze programs, manage risk, identify and influence course corrections, and continuously improve the hardware development lifecycle.
• Manage risks and resolve issues affecting release, scope, schedule and quality of highly visible programs.
• Provide technical leadership so solutions meet quality and performance standards.
• Manage product cost through the development lifecycle and communicate project status and challenges to leadership.
• Encourage innovation, explore new technologies, and keep stakeholders aligned through regular reporting and feedback.

Required profile

• Four-year or graduate degree in engineering or a related discipline, or commensurate experience and demonstrated competence.
• Typically 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in program/project management, a professional technology organization or a related field.
• Preferred certification: Program Management Professional.

The position is full time in Singapore with no shift premium; travel is 25% and relocation is not offered.
