Systems Administrator – Singapore

About the role

Referment is working with a global quantitative investment business seeking a Systems Administrator for its Singapore office. The role is hands‑on, office‑based, combining direct user support with infrastructure administration, troubleshooting and project work.

Key responsibilities

• Provide in‑person support covering PC hardware, peripherals, software deployments, mobile‑device management, videoconferencing, AV equipment, trading‑floor technology and occasional data‑centre work.
• Work with global teams and vendors to diagnose and resolve technical and non‑technical issues.
• Support Windows PCs and servers, UNIX servers, mobile devices and communications infrastructure.
• Investigate complex issues, administer infrastructure‑level systems and contribute to automation and efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows enterprise environments and Microsoft 365.
• Practical systems‑administration experience across hardware, software, desk‑side, trading‑floor, AV, conferencing, event or remote‑user support.
• Strong research and analytical skills with curiosity to solve unfamiliar problems and improve processes.
• Availability to work on site Monday‑Friday with occasional overtime, weekend assignments and travel to Hong Kong or Shanghai.
