Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

BJAK, the leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia, is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support hiring across multiple functions and regions as it scales globally. This is a hands-on, remote recruitment role for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, manages several hiring priorities and partners closely with stakeholders. The position covers a wide range of functions including Operations, Finance, Marketing, Creative, HR, Product, Engineering and other business-critical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned roles across functions and locations
• Partner with hiring managers on needs, candidate profiles and business priorities
• Source, screen, assess and engage candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, job boards and direct outreach
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for active and future hiring needs
• Conduct talent mapping and market research to support hiring strategy
• Coordinate interviews and ensure a positive candidate experience
• Maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Share hiring updates and pipeline insights with hiring managers and stakeholders
• Support process improvements, hiring initiatives and employer branding

Required profile

• 2-5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, Executive Search, Staffing or a related field
• Proven experience managing multiple vacancies in a fast-paced environment
• Experience recruiting across functions such as Operations, Finance, Marketing, Creative, HR, Product or Engineering
• Strong candidate assessment and interviewing skills
• Fluency in English; Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Thai or Japanese is an advantage
• Experience in tech companies, startups, recruitment agencies or high-growth organisations is highly preferred
