Tax Analyst – Semiconductor Industry

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Analyst to lead tax compliance for our semiconductor business across Singapore and Malaysia. The role involves managing GST, corporate tax, withholding tax, and statutory reporting while supporting regional tax initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Singapore and Malaysia tax compliance, including GST, corporate tax, withholding tax, and statutory reporting.
• Oversee GST reporting, drive compliance initiatives and implement process improvements.
• Coordinate statutory and tax audits, liaise with tax authorities and external consultants.
• Support transfer pricing compliance and regional tax reporting requirements.
• Assist with tax and compliance matters for new Southeast Asia business entities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and strengthen internal controls.
• Participate in ad‑hoc finance and compliance projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of finance experience, with at least 5 years specializing in tax compliance, corporate tax, GST, statutory audit, and tax governance.
• Prior experience in an MNC or corporate environment is preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with US GAAP, SOX compliance, and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Proven track record handling IRAS tax audits and regulatory enquiries.
• Experience managing multiple legal entities and regional tax compliance is an advantage.
