Teaching Assistant – Pathway 2 & 3

About the role

The Teaching Assistant will work closely with the classroom teacher and Pathway Leader in Pathway 2 or Pathway 3 classes, providing additional supervision, small‑group and one‑to‑one support for students with diverse learning needs.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise students during lessons, break times and school trips.
• Deliver targeted small‑group and individual interventions as directed by the teacher.
• Assist the teacher with assessment, record‑keeping and preparation of learning materials.
• Support the creation and organisation of resources required for differentiated instruction.
• Promote a safe, engaging and well‑structured learning environment.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality policies at all times.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the school community.

Required profile

• Commitment to supporting students with additional or complex needs.
• Professional attitude, punctuality and reliable attendance.
• Willingness to engage in continuous professional development, especially in neuro‑divergent learner support.
• Compliance with Singapore work‑visa requirements and a current enhanced criminal records disclosure.
