Team Lead – Event Management

About the role

The Team Lead, Event Management will lead and motivate a team of event professionals, ensuring delivery of world‑class events that exceed client expectations. You will act as the on‑site representative of the FIRST Solutions brand for a high‑profile technology client and drive excellent project management across both onsite and digital events.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate staff assignments, workloads and vacation schedules for onsite and digital events.
• Review event intake requests, confirm space and approvals, and assign resources.
• Advise on planning and execution for high‑profile groups and oversee large‑scale events.
• Handle event escalations and manage monthly audit reports for clients.
• Partner with clients on strategic initiatives and directly manage a team of direct reports.
• Develop, mentor and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and promote efficient communications.
• Collaborate with FIRST People & Culture on recruiting and employee‑relations matters.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of relevant experience in event management or corporate event planning.
• Strong people‑management skills with the ability to lead by example.
• Excellent written and oral communication at all organisational levels.
• Decision‑making, problem‑solving and collaborative attitude.
• Highly organised, able to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
• Fluent in English.
• Adaptable, proactive and able to work under pressure.
