Technical Architect (.NET & Azure)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise‑scale, cloud‑native solutions on the Microsoft technology stack, including .NET and Azure. The role combines solution architecture, technical leadership, and hands‑on guidance for development teams across the full software lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design enterprise‑grade application architectures using .NET, Azure services, and micro‑services patterns.
• Define solution blueprints, architecture standards, and technical roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical governance activities, and design assurance processes.
• Mentor developers and technical leads, promote best practices, and ensure engineering excellence.
• Architect cloud‑native solutions on Azure, including AKS, App Services, API Management, and monitoring tools.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines, DevOps standards, and observability practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, translate business requirements into practical technical solutions, and present architecture decisions.
• Drive application modernization, cloud migration, and implementation of DDD and event‑driven architectures.

Required skills

• .NET 8+.NET Core, C#
• ASP.NET Core / MVC, RESTful API design
• Microservices architecture, Dapr, Event‑Driven Architecture, Pub/Sub patterns
• Entity Framework Core, ORM frameworks, database performance tuning (SQL Server, Redis)
• Azure services: AKS, App Services, API Management, Storage Accounts, Application Insights, Monitoring, Security & Identity
• Containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes
• CI/CD with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Git, xUnit, automated testing
• OAuth 2.0, JWT authentication, secure API design
• Frontend knowledge: TypeScript, React, Next.js
