Technical Product Owner - Warehousing & Material Flow

About the role

Resmed is transforming its global supply chain and manufacturing technology landscape to improve efficiency, traceability, compliance and capacity. It is looking for a Technical Product Owner to lead the technology products supporting warehousing and material flow in its factories, covering raw-material receipt, warehouse operations, material staging and replenishment, finished-goods receipt and movement to distribution centres. Reporting to the Senior Director, Business Partner for Manufacturing, the role connects operational priorities with technology strategy and takes technical ownership of the application landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Define the product strategy, roadmap and prioritized delivery plan for warehouse and material flow, including goods receipt, put-away, storage, inventory movements, line-side replenishment and outbound movement.
• Lead evaluation and selection of warehouse applications, platforms and automation technologies, including RFI/RFP, vendor assessment, fit-gap analysis and integration reviews.
• Set product governance, global standards and reusable capabilities, and work with Business Product Owners, architects, business analysts and vendors to build scalable solutions.
• Turn requirements into a technical backlog and delivery sequence, prioritizing WMS, WCS, ERP integrations, automation, security and non-functional needs, and guide design, implementation, validation and deployment.
• Partner with quality, regulatory and validation teams so solutions meet quality gates, traceability, data integrity and compliance requirements.
• Drive adoption, monitor product performance and manage the product lifecycle, including release planning, platform health, technical debt and vendor relationships.
• Identify opportunities to modernize warehousing and intralogistics, and influence senior business and GTS leaders on investment and trade-offs.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of experience delivering medium-to-large enterprise technology solutions (product ownership, programme leadership, business analysis, solution design or delivery).
• Strong experience implementing or managing enterprise applications or platforms in a manufacturing environment.
• Sound understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes, and ability to turn operational requirements into product roadmaps and prioritized backlogs.
• Experience leading products through implementation, validation, deployment and ongoing lifecycle management.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Preferred: experience with WMS/WCS, Oracle ERP or SAP, digital transformation in manufacturing, regulated manufacturing, smart warehousing technologies, vendor selection and RFI/RFP, and team leadership.
