About the role

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials engineering solutions, is seeking a Technical Project Manager to drive continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves preparing project plans, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare project plans and coordinate the attainment of deliverables from planning to implementation.
• Maintain matrices for process improvements and drive project deliverables using reports, tracking charts, and checklists.
• Align internal resources to achieve on‑time, within‑budget performance objectives and monitor cost performance.
• Participate in intra‑business unit design teams and contribute to technical development.
• Research causes of project obstacles and assist in implementing solutions.

Required profile

• Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline with basic knowledge of related areas.
• Understands best practices, market competition, and integration with other functions.
• Acts as a resource for less‑experienced colleagues and may lead small projects.
• Solves complex problems using judgment based on multiple information sources.
• Communicates difficult or sensitive information effectively and builds consensus.
