Technical Project / Program Manager

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Technical Project / Program Manager to lead the planning and execution of projects that support the development of semiconductor and display equipment. Based in Singapore, you will coordinate cross‑functional resources, ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget, and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project plans and coordinate the attainment of deliverables from planning through implementation.
• Maintain matrices for process improvements and drive project tasks using reports, tracking charts, and checklists.
• Align internal resources to achieve on‑time, on‑budget performance and monitor cost performance.
• Participate in intra‑business‑unit design teams and contribute to technical development toward project goals.
• Research causes of project obstacles and assist in implementing resolution solutions.

Required profile

• Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in your discipline with basic knowledge of related areas.
• Understands best practices, market competition, and how your area integrates with others.
• Acts as a resource for less‑experienced colleagues and may lead small, low‑risk projects.
• Solves complex problems by analyzing multiple information sources and taking new perspectives.
• Communicates difficult or sensitive information effectively and builds consensus.
