Technical Project/Program Manager

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Technical Project/Program Manager to lead and coordinate complex projects that advance semiconductor and advanced display technologies. The role involves planning, execution, and continuous improvement across cross‑functional teams in a supportive, innovation‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare project plans and coordinate deliverables from planning through implementation.
• Maintain matrices for process improvements and drive project tracking using reports, charts and checklists.
• Align internal resources to achieve on‑time, within‑budget performance and monitor cost performance.
• Participate in intra‑business‑unit design teams and contribute to technical development.
• Research project obstacles and assist in implementing resolution solutions.

Required profile

• Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline with basic knowledge of related areas.
• Acts as a resource for less‑experienced colleagues and may lead small projects with manageable risks.
• Solves complex problems by analyzing multiple information sources and taking new perspectives.
• Communicates difficult or sensitive information effectively and builds consensus.
