Technical Sales Engineer (HVAC)

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer specialized in HVAC to join a dynamic manufacturing client in Singapore. The role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to drive market growth and deliver energy‑efficient solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, engage and sell HVAC and ATCS solutions to new and existing clients.
• Lead client presentations as the technical expert for ATCS.
• Analyse technical requirements and propose tailored, energy‑efficient systems.
• Manage the full tender process, including briefings, site visits, and preparation of detailed technical proposals and RFPs.
• Calculate Bills of Quantities, select equipment and ensure specifications meet project needs.
• Balance client requirements with internal cost control to maintain healthy profit margins.
• Coordinate between clients, internal engineering teams and external vendors to ensure smooth project hand‑over.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience in HVAC, cooling systems or industrial equipment.
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems such as cooling towers, chillers and heat exchangers.
• Experience in tendering, proposal preparation and cost estimation is a plus.
