Technical Specialist – Noon Shift (Up to $3.2K/month)

About the role

Our client, a global aerospace leader, is seeking a hands‑on Technical Specialist to support production on a noon shift (3 pm‑11:30 pm, Monday‑Friday). This 1‑year contract offers the chance to work directly with product teams, drive quality improvements and contribute to new product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day technical support to production teams to ensure product performance and quality.
• Manage product definitions and collaborate with the Integrated Product Team (IPT).
• Lead root‑cause analysis and implement quality‑improvement tools such as 8D and FTQP.
• Support customer return investigations and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives (Kaizen).
• Monitor key production metrics (R1, FPY) and coordinate new‑product introductions.
• Partner with the Design Authority and cross‑functional departments.

Required profile

• NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Engineering, Aerospace, Aviation or related field.
• 1‑2 years of hands‑on experience in manufacturing or technical support, preferably in aviation/aerospace.
• Proactive problem‑solver with a strong focus on precision and quality.
• Willingness to work the noon shift and commit to a renewable 1‑year contract.
