Technical Support Engineer – Crypto & DeFi (APAC)

About the role

Join Fireblocks' newly formed APAC Support team as a Technical Support Engineer, tackling complex challenges in the DeFi and Web 3.0 space. You will provide real‑time assistance for our SaaS platform, working closely with Site Reliability, DevOps, Product and Engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own customer problems from identification to resolution using all available resources.
• Provide real‑time support via Slack and remote troubleshooting during APAC business hours.
• Deliver best‑in‑class technical support for Fireblocks' SaaS platform.
• Escalate issues to the Senior Support Team when necessary.
• Collaborate with senior engineers during outages and participate in war‑room calls.
• Follow business processes, policies and maintain meticulous case documentation.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years experience as a Technical Support Engineer or similar role.
• Ability to work under high pressure with strong time‑management skills.
• Willingness to work unorthodox hours when required.
• Experience with API implementation and debugging.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent (preferred).
• Prior experience supporting SaaS products, preferably in fintech or related sectors.
• Additional language skills such as Mandarin, Korean, Japanese or Bahasa (preferred).
