Technical Trainer

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Technical Trainer to deliver standard and customized training courses on semiconductor and display equipment. The role involves traveling to customer sites, both domestically and internationally, to ensure effective knowledge transfer.

Key responsibilities

• Present technical training courses using prepared or customized materials, managing classroom and lab activities.
• Develop new training materials, including customized courses, teaching media, and documentation to fill gaps.
• Maintain product technical knowledge, achieve certifications for courses and safety modules, and certify others.
• Collaborate with product groups to update course content and represent technical training in meetings.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Engineering or related field.
• Prior experience in training within the semiconductor, manufacturing, or electronics industry.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to support second‑shift training and work at multiple locations as needed.
