Technician – Fan Blade Manufacturing (Singapore)

About the role

As a Technician in Fan Blade Manufacturing you will work on the shop floor creating high‑precision hollow titanium fan blades for aerospace engines. The role involves using a variety of hand tools, gauges, fixtures and hydraulic or pneumatic tooling in a clean‑room environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines, furnaces, automated robots and dedicated process lines.
• Run bonders, NDT equipment (X‑ray, FPI, UT) and etching lines following technique sheets.
• Perform work in accordance with quality procedures and 5S housekeeping standards.
• Implement improvement initiatives and maintain clean‑room compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum NITEC or Diploma in an engineering‑related field; recent graduates are welcome.
• Legal right to work in Singapore.
• Ability to read and interpret 3‑D feature drawings.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Operation of CNC machines, furnaces and robotic process lines.
• Use of hand tools, gauges, fixtures, hydraulic and pneumatic tooling.
• Clean‑room work practices.
• Experience with NDT techniques (X‑ray, FPI, UT) and etching processes.
• Interpretation of 3‑D drawings.
• Knowledge of 5S and housekeeping standards.
