Technology Assurance Specialist

About the role

Reporting to the Validation Lead, the Technology Assurance Specialist provides independent, control‑focused assurance across the bank’s technology landscape. The role evaluates design and operating effectiveness of controls in areas such as cybersecurity, IT operations, data governance and AI governance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform independent validation of key technology controls, including cybersecurity, change management, outsourcing and access management.
• Assess compliance with internal policies and Singapore regulatory requirements such as MAS TRM, MAS Cyber Hygiene Notices and Outsourcing Guidelines.
• Document findings, deliver actionable recommendations and develop continuous validation use cases to accelerate gap identification.
• Prepare validation reports for technology management and risk committees, articulating risks and prioritising remediation.
• Engage with stakeholders across Lines 1, 2 and 3 to promote a strong risk and control culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 5‑7 years of experience in technology risk management, audit, governance or data analytics within financial institutions.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP or CRISC.
• Strong understanding of IT processes including SDLC, cloud, infrastructure operations and cybersecurity.
• Knowledge of AI and Generative AI concepts, associated risks and governance considerations.
• Familiarity with Singapore regulatory expectations (MAS TRM, Cyber Hygiene Notices, Outsourcing Guidelines, CCoP).
