Technology Functional Business Analyst – Banking Risk Management

About the role

The Technology Functional Business Analyst will act as a trusted advisor to the banking risk management business, translating regulatory and operational demands into technology‑enabled solutions. You will work closely with senior leaders, technology teams and external partners to ensure seamless delivery of client tax (CRS) and data‑privacy (PDPA) initiatives across Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Manage stakeholder relationships, providing strategic advice on new business demands and prioritising requests with the Biz T&O Head.
• Develop high‑level solution designs that align with the bank’s technology roadmap and ensure feasibility of target outcomes.
• Lead change implementation planning, scoping initiatives, assessing scalability, cost, risk and operational impact.
• Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts and testing teams to define requirements and support user‑acceptance testing.
• Identify potential risks, propose mitigation strategies and drive smooth delivery of technology and process changes.

Required profile

• Strong domain knowledge in Banking Risk Management, PDPA and Client Tax (CRS) reporting.
• Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on process design.
• Hands‑on, resourceful team player comfortable with data analysis and rapid Excel mock‑ups.
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision while keeping sight of overall delivery.
• Good understanding of technology and operational processes across banking functions.
