Temporary Executive, Event and Communication

About the role

The Communications and Outreach team at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) is seeking a Temporary Executive to support the planning and execution of a large‑scale community event and various outreach activities. The role involves coordinating multiple stakeholders, managing event logistics and procurement, and handling publicity and VIP engagement to ensure successful delivery of school events.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate educational booths and activity stations, defining requirements, manpower, logistics and programme content.
• Develop and execute the event programme, including stage activities, talks, demonstrations and community engagement.
• Manage speakers, emcees, performers and programme partners, creating detailed run sheets and operational plans.
• Develop and maintain VIP and guest invitation lists, handle RSVPs, seating, protocol and on‑site hosting.
• Prepare administrative documents and support overall event operations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in communications, event management, marketing, public relations or a related discipline.
• Strong organisational and coordination abilities with capacity to manage multiple tasks, timelines and stakeholders concurrently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to engage a wide range of audiences.
