Temporary Patient Services Assistant, Nuclear Cardiac Imaging

About the role

SingHealth is hiring a Temporary Patient Services Assistant for Nuclear Cardiac Imaging. You will support doctors, radiographers and nuclear medicine technologists in their daily workflows, helping ensure smooth operations and quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Patient care support such as measuring height and weight, giving procedure explanations and instructions, and preparing patients for procedures such as ECG electrode setup and recording
• Handle appointment and scan scheduling and general patient enquiries
• Guide patients on the self-registration kiosk
• Maintain inventory of linen in storage areas and consumables in procedure rooms

Required profile

• General Diploma, GCE 'A' Level or equivalent
• Ability to speak a second language or dialect is an advantage for liaising with non-English-speaking patients
• Pleasant disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Responsible and a good team player
• Proof of measles (or MMR) vaccination or serological evidence of immunity, and Tdap vaccination within the last 10 years, as required for healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act; applicants without them may apply if they commit to completing the vaccines before starting work
