Trade Operations Analyst (Imports) - IBGO

About the role

Group Operations manages the majority of the bank's operational processes and delivers services across its banking channels. This Associate/Analyst position in Trade Operations (Imports) sits within the Institutional Banking Group Operations (IBGO) team, based at DBS Asia Gateway.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily trade operations transactions in line with agreed service standards.
• Liaise with business units or customers for the information needed to complete each transaction.
• Perform day-end reconciliation of transactions.
• Follow risk and control guidelines and policies.
• Assist in process improvement projects and carry out ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Supervising Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in banking operations, especially trade operations.
• Self-motivated team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Meticulous and detailed-oriented, able to spot ways to improve operational efficiency.
• Able to work on Singapore public holidays when needed.

Required skills

• Familiarity with MS Office applications such as Outlook, Excel and Word.
