About the role
We are looking for a Trainee Technician to join the Component Repair team at ST Engineering Aerospace’s MRO division in Singapore. The role offers hands‑on experience in aircraft component maintenance and repair, supporting senior technicians and contributing to high‑quality service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Perform specialised repair processes including plasma spray, water jet cutting, shot peening, heat treatment, cleaning, masking, blasting, sheet‑metal work, assembly and dis‑assembly.
- Inspect repaired components to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Follow production schedules and meet delivery targets for component repairs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of repair activities and process parameters.
- Participate in safety, cost‑control and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
- Support shift rotations and overtime as required to meet production demands.
Required profile
- Minimum Higher NITEC in Engineering.
- Basic command of written and spoken English.
- Willingness to work overtime and support shift work.
