Transactional Foreign Exchange (TFX) Specialist

About the role

Citi is looking for a Transactional Foreign Exchange (TFX) Specialist in Singapore. The role manages foreign exchange transactions generated through Citi's cross-border payment solutions across a range of automated channels, helping deliver scalable FX solutions that support clients' cross-border payments and FX Treasury needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide FX expertise and innovative solutions to automate and monetize flows within the TFX remit.
• Execute the TFX strategy supporting Citi's Cross Border Payments vision.
• Provide central oversight and governance for all FX risk within Sales and FX JVs.
• Manage day-to-day FX execution activities within the TFX remit.
• Develop and implement process improvements to drive TFX automation while achieving operational and client excellence.
• Identify key corridors and business growth opportunities through close engagement with Sales, Trading and Product / JV partners.
• Provide expertise in product and pricing discussions to support client RFPs or deal engagements.
• Manage and reduce operational FX risk for Sales and Trading.
• Take part in product development, including system enhancements and testing.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of, and/or experience in, foreign exchange and cross-border payments.
• Degree in Economics, Banking, Finance or relevant market, or equivalent working experience.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• High level of verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational and project management skills.
• Team player.
• Added advantage: CFMAS / FMRP certification; knowing Chinese is an added advantage for flows from Chinese-based clients.
