Treasury Asset Liability Management Manager

About the role

The Treasury Asset Liability Management (ALM) Manager will design and implement the regional ALM framework, ensuring effective governance, liquidity management and funding strategies. This senior position works closely with finance and business teams to embed FTP and profitability metrics across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the overall ALM framework and governance for the region.
• Develop policies, procedures and analytical reports to support ALM oversight.
• Establish funds transfer pricing (FTP) methodologies and publish internal funding curves.
• Collaborate with Finance and Business teams to integrate FTP into profitability and pricing decisions.
• Support issuance vehicle design, funding structure modelling and optimal funding mix analysis.
• Monitor treasury dealing activities (money market, FX, interest rate) within approved risk parameters.
• Contribute to liquidity risk appetite monitoring and reporting to senior committees.
• Maintain communication with treasury departments to allocate funding limits to regional entities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related discipline.
• 8‑10 years of relevant banking or financial markets experience, including treasury, ALM, FTP and liquidity management.
• Professional certification in Financial Risk Management (FMRP) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of BCBS Basel and MAS liquidity frameworks; familiarity with HK SFC regulations is a plus.
• Proven experience establishing ALM and FTP programs.
• Strong teamwork and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Willingness to support operations across multiple countries on a rotational basis.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Bloomberg for trade execution, risk management and balance‑sheet management.
• Familiarity with building automation tools in the Microsoft 365 platform.
