Valuations Associate

About the role

The Valuations team supports the financial reporting process, transactions, restructuring and disputes, led by accredited professionals with decades of experience. This Valuations Associate position is based in Singapore and is permanent. The team has an open, non-hierarchical culture and helps members build the experience and skills needed for their career path.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing proposals for internal and external clients
• Assist in performing valuations of businesses, intellectual property, financial instruments and similar items for financial reporting, M&A, dispute resolution, restructuring and litigation support
• Perform market and industry research
• Take part in meetings with internal and external clients alongside the manager and partner
• Develop financial models and help with financial modelling or model review assignments
• Help prepare valuation reports, presentation decks and review memos for internal and external clients
• Assist in business development activities and other ad-hoc tasks as required

Required profile

• Recognised Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field, or equivalent professional qualifications
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience are welcome to apply
• Demonstrated basic accounting knowledge and understanding of financial statements
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Strong interest in valuation, strong work ethic and ability to adapt to new challenges in a collaborative team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise shifting workloads
