Vice President, Information Security (Managed Detection & Response)

About the role

Singlife is building a next‑generation cyber defence capability and needs a senior leader to own its Managed Detection and Response (MDR) programme. As Vice President, Information Security (MDR) you will be the technical authority for threat detection, hunting, investigation and response across the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Command major cyber incidents and manage the full DFIR lifecycle from detection to post‑incident review.
• Define and execute the Group’s cyber‑defence strategy aligned with MAS TRM, NIST CSF v2.0 and ISO/IEC 27001:2022.
• Govern and optimise SIEM, SOAR, EDR and DLP platforms to maximise detection coverage and value.
• Lead MDR, Digital Forensics & Incident Response, Threat Hunting, Detection Engineering and Security Operations teams.
• Act as incident commander during high‑impact events and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in information security, preferably at VP or Head level.
• Deep understanding of cyber‑threat landscape and incident response best practices.
• Track record of building and scaling MDR and DFIR capabilities in a regulated environment.
• Strong communication skills to influence stakeholders and present findings to senior management.
