Vice President – Technical Support (APAC)

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a seasoned senior leader to head its Technical Support organization across the Asia‑Pacific region. Reporting to the APAC Commercial Leadership Team, the Vice President will drive operational excellence, customer trust, and revenue protection for complex enterprise software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day APAC support operations, ensuring adherence to global processes, SLAs, backlog management and resolution quality.
• Lead regular performance reviews, risk assessments and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for critical incidents, coordinating root‑cause analysis, customer communication and corrective actions.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to resolve recurring issues and influence product improvements.
• Develop and mentor regional Tech Support Team Leads, driving succession planning and performance management.
• Champion the transformation of the support function into an AI‑ready organization, defining processes, data, tools and governance for automation and self‑service at scale.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in a global software company supporting enterprise‑grade products.
• Track record of managing large, multi‑country technical support teams in a technology‑driven environment.
• Strong incident and escalation management background, with close collaboration with product and engineering teams.
• Data‑driven mindset, able to align support outcomes with commercial and customer objectives.
