Video Content Creator & Project Manager (Bilingual English/Chinese)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Video Content Creator & Project Manager to lead the full video production pipeline and coordinate multiple media initiatives for Chinese Media Group. The role blends creative video production with project management, supporting business development and ensuring campaigns align with company objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Script, shoot, direct, and edit engaging short‑form and long‑form video content for social, web, and digital platforms.
• Plan and execute live or recap video production for signature events and partner functions.
• Handle post‑production tasks including color grading, sound design, motion graphics, subtitling, and multi‑format exports optimized for each platform.
• Simultaneously manage deliverables across multiple media campaigns, ensuring creative alignment, resource allocation, and strict deadline adherence.
• Oversee the social media content release calendar and establish efficient production workflows between creative, sales, marketing, and external vendors.
• Partner closely with internal teams, external business partners, event coordinators, and executive stakeholders to meet project milestones.

Required profile

• Degree in a relevant discipline with 3‑5 years of experience; portfolio required if available.
• Excellent presentation and relationship‑building skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Passion for creating entertaining and informative Chinese content across interviews, event highlights, B‑roll, and live‑streams.
• Fun‑loving, highly creative personality with a sense of humour and interest in trending topics and Asian entertainment.
• Good knowledge of video editing (e.g., Capcut) and video production.
• Highly organised self‑starter capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Adaptable team player who can work independently and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Flexibility to work weekends and travel overseas for events when required.
