VMware Consultant – VCF Specialist

About the role

HashtagForge is looking for a VMware Consultant to design, deploy and manage VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments for our clients. You will work closely with customers to ensure robust, secure, and high‑performing virtualization solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and configure VCF components including SDDC Manager, vSphere, vSAN, NSX and Aria.
• Perform lifecycle management such as patching, upgrades and configuration using SDDC Manager.
• Monitor and maintain compute, storage and networking layers to guarantee performance and availability.
• Implement security compliance, backup and disaster‑recovery strategies.
• Manage role‑based access control and integrate with enterprise identity providers.
• Configure, troubleshoot and optimize NSX components, micro‑segmentation, distributed firewalls and routing.
• Design L2/L3 networking for multi‑site VCF deployments.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis across the full VCF stack and document procedures.
• Provide technical consultation and advisory services to guide client virtualization strategies.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation.
• Proven ability to work directly with clients and communicate technical concepts.
• Relevant VMware certifications (e.g., VCP‑VCF).
