VP, Senior Voice Engineer (Unified Communications)

About the role

DBS is hiring a VP, Senior Voice Engineer (Unified Communications) within its Future Ready Technology team, based at the DBS Asia Hub. The role is responsible for designing, implementing and supporting enterprise voice and unified communications platforms, ensuring high availability, regulatory compliance and optimal performance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain enterprise voice platforms such as Cisco CUCM, Teams Direct Routing and SBCs
• Ensure compliance with regulatory recording requirements, for example financial services mandates
• Manage and optimise call routing, dial plans and telephony integrations
• Support incident management, troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Collaborate with security, network and infrastructure teams on system hardening
• Lead or support migrations, for example CUCM to cloud or Teams transformations
• Maintain documentation, architecture diagrams and audit-ready artefacts
• Engage vendors and manage third-party service providers
• Monitor system performance and implement continuous improvements

Required profile

• Experience in financial services or regulated industries
• Cisco certification (CCNP Collaboration or equivalent)
• Experience in cloud voice (Azure, Webex, Zoom)
• Ability to work in high-pressure production environments and strong stakeholder management

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with Cisco CUCM, voice gateways and SIP protocols
• Knowledge of Microsoft Teams Direct Routing and SBCs such as AudioCodes
• Network concepts including QoS, NAT and firewall traversal for voice and video
• Compliance recording solutions such as NICE and Verint
• Familiarity with ITIL incident, problem and change management
• Troubleshooting, scripting and automation, and attention to detail for audit and compliance
