VP, Specialist, FX Advisory - Private Banking

About the role

DBS is hiring a VP, Specialist, FX Advisory within its Private Banking, Consumer Banking Group. The role sits in the Asia Central location and involves advising private banking and treasury clients on foreign exchange needs, pricing and marketing treasury products.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customers' forex portfolios and provide currency-related advice, customising hedging solutions
• Pricing, structuring and marketing treasury products (FX, FX options, commodities, structured deposits, structured products and other wealth products) to private banking and treasury private clients
• Jointly develop client relationships with relationship managers and manage the customer base under your supervision
• Stay up to date with market developments, currency matters and products
• Perform regulated activities while ensuring full compliance with bank policies, standards, guidelines and procedures and regulatory requirements

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Economics, Finance or a related discipline
• At least 3 years of experience in a currency trading and execution role
• Team player, results-oriented and able to handle pressure
• Willingness to learn with a positive growth attitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
