VP, Specialist, Governance and Controls, Group Marketing & Communications

About the role

Group Marketing & Communications (GM&C) sits within the Group Chief Operating Officer organisation and is responsible for aligning marketing and communications across businesses and locations, supporting a One Brand approach and building on culture, data and trust. As a Regional COO Specialist, you will lead and oversee all risk and control matters across GM&C for its six core markets (Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, India and China), with primary focus in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage risk and control matters, including KRI reporting, RCSA testing, Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), Business Continuity Management (BCM), Resolution Planning (RP) and Data Loss Protection (DLP) governance.
• Partner with the Risk Management Group, Group Business Continuity Management, Group Procurement and Services, Group Audit, Information Security Services and Legal & Compliance to guide stakeholders and ensure compliance with Group guidelines.
• Support the Unit Operational Risk Manager as the first line of defence in identifying and managing operational risks in day-to-day activities.
• Lead BCM activities, including staff recalls, emergency evacuations, tabletop exercises and scenario-based Business Continuity Plans.
• Oversee residual risks, Issues & Action and incidents management, and work with stakeholders to improve policies and processes.
• Manage risk culture indicators and attestations, and drive risk culture and awareness.
• Support ad-hoc matters requested by the GM&C COO.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Background in risk and control is a must.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Resourceful, comfortable in ambiguity, able to perform under pressure and deadlines, with a positive attitude and openness to new ideas.
