VP System Analyst – Group Technology

About the role

The Vice President, System Analyst will lead solution design and delivery for Group Technology initiatives, working closely with business users, analysts and project teams across the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users, analysts and project teams on solutioning throughout project initiation, implementation and post‑implementation support.
• Participate in requirements gathering, suggest alternative solutions based on best practices and industry standards.
• Develop and review functional specifications, technical design specifications and ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Support testing phases (SIT, UAT) and maintain application documentation according to UOB delivery methodology.
• Verify vendor code releases, monitor post‑production cut‑over and provide incident support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• More than 5 years of system analysis, testing or project management experience in the banking/financial services industry.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate requirements sessions.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Required skills

• Interface specification and data mapping.
• Understanding of software development life cycles and relevant applications.
