VP/SVP, Crypto Trader, Global Financial Market

About the role

DBS Global Financial Markets, an Asian leader in treasury operations, is looking for an experienced Cryptocurrency Trader to join its Digital Asset Trading team. The successful candidate will lead the desk's alpha capabilities and help build the desk's derivatives franchise business while supporting day-to-day desk operations. The role is based in DBS Asia Central.

Key responsibilities

• Strengthen desk trading by identifying volatility and skew opportunities across maturities and instruments on trading options
• Design and implement trading strategies, including delta-hedging, gamma scalping and calendar spreads
• Monitor and manage portfolio risk, including Greeks, tail risks and implied versus realized volatilities
• Work with quant and tech teams to improve pricing models, backtesting infrastructure and execution tools
• Work with the sales team to build franchise business and meet revenue targets
• Help the structuring team design bespoke crypto-linked structured products and payoffs
• Analyse market trends, news and blockchain data to inform trading decisions
• Support and assist the desk's day-to-day operations

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in options trading, with a preference for the crypto market
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field
• Entrepreneurial mindset, able to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Required skills

• Strong understanding of option pricing, volatility surfaces and risk management techniques
• Familiarity with crypto market structure, including perpetual futures, DEXs and wallets
• Proficiency in Python, KDB or other tools for trading analytics and automation
