About the role

Join the Waterfall restaurant team at Shangri‑La Singapore and deliver warm, friendly, and attentive service to our guests. As a Waiter you will be the face of the dining experience, ensuring every order is taken accurately and served promptly in a luxurious setting.

Key responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver them promptly.
• Serve dishes and drinks according to the restaurant’s service standards.
• Set up tables, maintain proper mise‑en‑place, and clear tables efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the service and dining areas.
• Respond to guest requests, escalating issues when necessary.
• Collaborate closely with team members and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Adhere to hygiene, safety, and grooming standards at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant or hotel service (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
• Familiarity with hygiene and safety protocols.
• Pleasant, service‑oriented personality with good communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Physically fit for a fast‑paced environment.
