Warehouse Assistant (Ship/Rec/Stores Clerk I)

About the role

Medtronic is hiring a Warehouse Assistant (Ship/Rec/Stores Clerk I) in Singapore to support its Manufacturing Operations and Distribution function. The team handles shipping, receiving, inventory handling and Kanban support so that materials needed for production are available on time. The role is onsite and may cover day or night shifts because of 24/7 device line operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against delivery documents.
• Store, organise and issue materials according to warehouse procedures.
• Support Kanban replenishment to keep production supplied.
• Perform inventory transactions and keep accurate inventory records in the designated systems.
• Prepare materials for shipping and help with outbound shipments.
• Carry out routine cycle counts and support inventory accuracy.
• Follow safety, quality and operational procedures, and report discrepancies, damage or equipment issues to supervisors.

Required profile

• No minimum education requirement.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in basic English.
• Ability to move and handle inventory and follow written work instructions and safety requirements.
• Availability to work onsite in Singapore and support day or night shifts.

Preferred qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in warehouse, stores, shipping, receiving, logistics or inventory operations.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution centre or production environments.
• Experience with inventory control, material movement or Kanban replenishment.
• Experience with warehouse management systems or inventory tracking tools.
• Forklift operation experience or material handling certifications.
